The Leicestershire Tennis and Squash Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Tommy Lane as the club’s new Head Coach.
Tommy joins the team with energy and excitement, having previously worked at David Lloyd Narborough, and brings with him fresh and stimulating ideas for how tennis coaching at the club can continue to evolve. We are excited to welcome Tommy on board and look forward to working closely with him to drive tennis forward at all levels across the club.
As part of this exciting new chapter, we are also pleased to confirm the promotion of Connor Evans to the role of Tennis Coordinator. Connor has been a highly valued member of our coaching team, consistently demonstrating commitment and professionalism. His progression into this new role will see him support the management of tennis at the club, working alongside Tommy to strengthen the programme further.
In addition, we are proud to announce that Dave Ireland will be stepping into the newly created role of Lead Mentor Coach. This appointment reflects the outstanding experience and expertise Dave brings to the club. Not only will he continue to mentor many of our strongest players, but he will also play a pivotal role in guiding and developing our coaching team moving forward.
This refreshed coaching structure represents an exciting new era for the club. By combining Tommy‘s vision, Connor’s organisation, and Dave’s wealth of experience-and with the continued support of We Do Tennis-we are confident that The Leicestershire Tennis and Squash Club will further strengthen its position as one of the country’s leading clubs.
We look forward to the future with great anticipation and to seeing the positive impact this dynamic new team will have on tennis at the club.
