The Leicestershire Tennis & Squash Club is a friendly and welcoming club with an elected Committee. Founded in 1878 in the middle of residential Stoneygate, the Club has its own freehold grounds just to the south of Leicester city centre. Membership is open to all and the club encourages the recruitment of a diverse and inclusive membership.
Leicestershire Tennis and Squash Club is the largest tennis club in the county and one of the largest and oldest in the UK. There are 17 tennis courts; 14 artificial clay 2 artificial grass and one macadam. We also have three squash courts, 2 traditional, and one glass-backed. There are changing and shower facilities in the clubhouse. 10 of our courts are floodlit for night time play. The Club annually hosts the Senior County Tennis Championships and Tennis Festival during July and August, the Junior County Tennis Championships and Mini Tennis Festival at the end of August, and other LTA graded and County Cup competitions.

In addition to several mix-ins throughout the week, the club offers a number of more competitive playing opportunities, entering teams in a wide range of competitions and leagues, as well as organising internal leagues and tournaments. Members are also encouraged to arrange their own matches and informal mix-ins on the large number of courts available.
The clubhouse has a fully licenced bar, coffee shop, and the Club shop which is run by racket specialists Withers Sports.
