Why join the Club?
Nestled in the heart of leafy Stoneygate near the centre of Leicester, The Leicestershire Tennis & Squash Club is the largest Tennis Club in the County with just over 800 members. Voted County Junior and National Senior Club of the year for two years running, our multi-surface courts, grounds and facilities are beautifully maintained and managed year round by dedicated full time staff.
Membership entitles you to the use of the facilities year round as allowed by your membership type. Once you are a member, there are no additional charges for using the facilities, other than for floodlights for evening tennis play and for lighting in the squash courts. With 18 tennis courts and two squash courts, chances are you’ll find a free court, or if not, you probably won’t have to wait too long. Members will have the opportunity to play in teams for the Club, lean to play and enjoy coaching from one of our six fully LTA qualified coaches, your new membership comes with a free coaching session.
Participate in all the social events and tournaments, pop down for a drink or coffee at the bar and get 10% discount off everything in the Club Shop! The Club is always lively, always friendly, and a great place to spend your free time.
Which membership is best for you?
The membership year for full membership runs from March 1st to the last day in February each year with fees pro-rated for those who join during the year. The membership year for a Squash Only membership runs from 1st September to the end of August to encompass a full Squash season. The Club has three main membership types plus a Parent Partner add on to the Junior Membership:
How much does it cost?
Prices for membership vary depending on what kind of membership you want and how old you are. See ‘Membership Prices’ for details. There are no other charges other than the cost of floodlights for evening tennis play, unless you wish to reserve a specific court which incurs a booking fee.

How do I become a member?
Simply download, complete and sign the relevant membership application form and send it back to the Club, better still come down and we’ll give you a guided tour! Fees can be paid in person during opening hours, over the phone, by bank transfer, or better still, spread the cost by completing a no-penalty monthly direct debit mandate and let us do the rest.

How do I get into the Club?
Access to Club facilities is controlled by a new biometric (digital fingerprint controlled) access system. Once you have confirmation that your membership application is processed, stop by the Club and let us register your fingerprint.
