Facts & Figures
With 18 courts and two squash courts, Leicestershire Tennis and Squash Club is the largest Club in the County. Founded in 1878, just 4 years after the game of lawn tennis had been invented and one year after Wimbledon held its first tournament in a format recognisable today. LTSC is the 8th oldest Tennis Club in the world and host to the annual Senior and Junior County Closed Championships which attracts approximately 2,000 players and spectators from all the other clubs in the County. For the first time in 2016, the Club is also host to the County Closed Squash Tournament, attracting players and spectators to the Club from across the County.
LTSC has over 800 members, the large percent of whom fall within the 40 – 65 ABC1 demographic.
